SSS Fluttering By Release Blog Hop!

Hey guys!

Welcome to my blog! I'm so happy and excited to share my cards using products from the Simon Says Stamp, Fluttering By release!

It's an awesome release with so many fun goodies but before I show you what I've created, I want to tell you that Simon is giving away a $25 gift card at each stop along the hop, randomly chosen from all the comment sections - yay! They'll be announcing all the winners on their blog on Wednesday.

If you're following along with the hop, you should've arrived here from Lisa Addesa'a blog, I'm in Haven. She is so talented, isn't she?! The start of today's hop can be found here at Simon's blog. This is day 2 of the hop, so if you missed day 1, you can click here to start from the beginning.

Whenever I receive goodies from Simon, I always try to use every product they send so I can give you guys some ideas on using them. Of course that means I've got lots of cards to share today. I hope seven of them isn't too many! Lol! I'm gonna try not to be too wordy in my card descriptions so this post doesn't drag on forever, but if you have a question, you can send me an email. Just click the, "About Me" link, located across the top of my blog. You'll find my email address there.

All the products from this release, and others I used on my cards, will be listed in the affiliate links at the bottom of this post.

Okay, for my first card, I used the "Woodgrain Block" die. I just cut it from white cardstock and shaded it a bit with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I wanted a masculine look.

My second card took me quite awhile to create - ha! I used the, "New Beginnings" Stencil, which is a beautiful tree. Believe or not, I used colored pencils, then added some highlights with a few Copic Markers. And that sentiment is from the, "Mom Flowers" stamp set.

Next up is one of my favorites from this release. It's a cling stamp called, "Center Cut Flowers." I love that the center portion of the stamp can be removed, or you can keep it in place, like I did on this card. Don't ya love that sentiment? It's also from the, "Mom Flowers" set.

I used the same stamp for the next card but this time I only stamped the center portion. I decided it'd be fun to create a circle shaped card.

Another view so you can see the dimension.

This next one uses another fave. The, "Butterfly Shimmer die." It creates such pretty cards! I kept mine very neutral but man, could you ever create lots of different looks with this one! The sentiment is the, "Happy Birthday Script" die.

Here's another neutral card. I know - strange for me but I love the simple, soft look! I used the, "Mom Flowers" stamp set again. Yes, there are flowers in the set too, along with some wonderful sentiments!

And finally my last card - thanks for hanging in there with this long post! These flowers are the same ones I used above. The bold Copic colors are more my style and I love using purple and orange together!

That's it - ya made it to the end - yay! Thanks so much for stopping by! Next up on the hop is Jean Manis. I know you'll adore whatever she's created! I love her work!

Enjoy the rest of the hop! ♥
